What is your pilates experience?
I completed my Reformer Pilates Training course in late 2024 and have gained teaching experience by observing and participating in classes at Sonne. I now enjoy teaching 1 to 2 times a week together with participating each day in other instructor’s classes.
What is your favourite style to teach?
My favourite teaching style is Reformer Strength - using the reformer together with light weights enables a perfect pairing of both lengthening and sculpting. I also enjoy incorporating the Pilates Ring and Ball in my workouts.
What do you love about Sonne?
Our members and the community we are creating. There is such a fun vibe in our studio. And close second the view of the Ocean.
What is your favourite reformer excercise?
Legs in straps, plank, to push up to pike and dead bugs laying on the pilates ball.

Hi I'm Maggie, I teach the Yoga classes at Sonne. You'll find me encouraging connection to mind, body and breath.
I completed my 200hr yoga teacher training with Barefoot Yoga School in 2022 with no intention of actually teaching but I felt so inspired by the experience, I went home looking for a studio to take me in. I worked at the beautiful Ground Up studio in Canberra until moving to sunny Queensland.
I have also taught a number of private and small group classes. A highlight of mine was running my volunteer group in Thailand through some flows while rescued elephants freely wandering behind us. Absolute magic.
I am passionate about creating safe, nurturing environments and vow to always lead with love and kindness.

I worked at Ground Up studio in the ACT prior to moving to sunny Queensland as well as running a number of a number of private and small group classes
What is your favourite style to teach?
I think my favourite style to teach is Yin however I love the creativity of a Vinyasa
What do you love about Sonne?
The community! It really is a hidden gem, but once you visit once you won't want to leave.
What is your favourite excercise?
Puppy pose (Uttana Shishosana) through and through!

What is your pilates experience?
My journey in the fitness world began as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor.
Over 4 years ago I fell in love with Pilates. The precision, control, and mindful connection between body and mind resonates deeply with my approach to movement.
What is your favourite style to teach?
Love to teach a strong class.
I'm passionate about the power that comes from moving with intention — strengthening not just the body, but also the awareness within it.
I try to bring this approach to any style class I teach.
What do you love about Sonne?
The community.
For me, it's more than just a place to work and move— it’s a space filled with encouragement, laughter, and connection.
I love seeing new friendships form in Studio.

What is your pilates experience?
I’ve been teaching Pilates for nearly seven and a half years, and I still love it just as much as the day I started. For me, nothing compares to helping people feel strong, connected, and proud for showing up and moving their bodies. Pilates is a true passion of mine, and it will always be a part of me.
What is your favourite style to teach?
My favourite teaching style is a full-body dynamic workout that blends strength and balance.
What do you love about Sonne?
Everyone who walks through the studio doors, you’re the ones who make this community so incredible. Being part of such a kind, supportive group is an absolute privilege.
What is your favourite reformer excercise?
I’ll never say no to a good plank sequence or some challenging unilateral arm work!
